Luleå, Sweden, 1 July 2016 - Effnet AB, a subsidiary of Effnetplattformen AB and the leading provider of header compression software for wireless networks, today announced an expansion of its license agreement with Trio Datacom, a Schneider Electric company. Trio Datacom is an industry leader in digital data radio modem technology. They design and manufacture industrial grade wireless digital data radio products, suitable for a variety of complex and critical SCADA and Telemetry Systems in industries such as Power Utilities, Water Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Industrial Plant Control. Effnet's header compression technology portfolio for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), e.g. SCADA and telemetry using UHF/VHF data radios, supports many IP and link layer protocols. Our customers can start with integration of only a subset of the portfolio in their products. As their products evolve and requirements increase, they can easily add more components from the portfolio. The design of the complete portfolio allows for easy integration and extension which saves our customer's time and resources and with extension, they derive additional bandwidth gains. Effnet's header compression technology is enabling its customers to move to IP based communications technology without compromising on radio throughput and system capacity.
